Waddy's Wagon over Japan

Waddy Young and his crew were part of the first B-29 bombing of Japan in November 1944.  Waddy's Wagon was the 5th plane to take off -- and the first to return.

That historic mission was filmed by the Army and released in June 1945 as the documentary "Target Tokyo". The movie, narrated by Ronald Reagan, was shown throughout the United States. "Waddy's Wagon" appear several times in the movie -- starting around 13 minutes into it. Click on the YouTube video below to view this historic documentary.
